Rosenwind Pharmacy by UniversalProjekt, Seewalchen – Austria

August 23rd, 2014 by retail design blog

“The recently opened Rosenwind Pharmacy located in the picturesque town of Seewalchen in the northern side of the Atter Lake is the result of the company’s vision of a space which should be enjoyable yet innovative and the efficient implementation of such by the international interior design firm UniversalProjekt. The project was conceived with the goal of improving the buying experience and clearly transmitting the unique philosophy of Rosenwind Pharmacy.

The goal for the space was the application of an understanding of modernity towards its interior design, which was successfully achieved with an innovative organization of the space and new way of presenting the product. Particular care was given to create an appealing traffic flow of the space in order to ensure customers cover the whole pharmacy.

The pharmacy is segmented into different areas based on the products being sold, the desired shopping experience and the brand positioning. The purpose of the categorization of areas was to facilitate the identification of products, thus making it easier for the customer to shop independently if desired.

The use of whimsical airy structures suspended from the ceiling reinforces the feeling of categorized spaces within the store. A cheerful bright yellow is used throughout the space and is intended to bring out the smile of the customer, something which definitely makes the shopping experience memorable. An impeccable multi-brand presentation using custom made frame moldings and counters in a mix of bright and textured surfaces reinforces the impression of a high-quality product. High quality finishes and an unsurpassed attention to detail, complete the design.
