Unu electric scooter

September 3rd, 2014 by retail design blog

From Munich comes Unu, an electric scooter producer committed to design, performance and affordability. The name Unu, meaning “one” or “unique,” references their business model to customize every bike by combining a myriad of colors and leather types that yield 65 different options. From Barista Brown, Tree Mint and Pigeons Blue to Sunset Orange, the two-seater e-motorbike comes in every solid color you’d want.

The scooter also prides itself on its light weight, weighing no more than 127 pounds, which is approximately half of that of a Vespa. Its electricity-driven engine is extremely quiet, powered by the latest technology of rechargeable Panasonic batteries that currently have the highest energy density in the market. With a starting price of just over $2,200, this scooter seems like a no-brainer to those who yearn to cruise around the city with ease. Comes with a two-year warranty.
