NUDO is the third restaurant owned by HDG architects Principal and co-founder, Josh Hissong and his Wife, Jingou Sun-Hissong, the idea behind the restaurant and the design was to create a space that was inviting, clean and simple, cool and be a space that would offer an open feel. The materials were super simple; wood plank and ultra white sheetrock. The tables and millwork were designed and built by HDG architects and Acadie Woodworks.

The lighting was planned with long dark winters in mind and the graphics on the walls added a “Japan cool” touch to the space. Propaganda Creative created the branding and logo for the space, while Jesse Scheller designed the Lichtenstein style wall graphics. In only four months, the restaurant has proven to be a huge success and we are all happy with the outcome. Check out the fun menu online.
