Aviator sunglasses by HAAL

December 11th, 2014 by retail design blog

The Aviator may not need a makeover but if it’s done right, we’re listening. Haal give this classic style a futuristic update using matte black lacquer aluminium on the front framing each eye, The Fly style, with a dark rim, finished with smoke coloured mirrored lenses. Anders Haal, former designer at to Ann-Sofie Back Atelje, puts the focus on unique materials and contemporary takes on instantly recognisable standards, his self-titled line centred around tailoring, placed against strong, modern accessories to counteract any prim and proper stuffiness. Made in Italy, these are available in grey or green, perfect for combatting winter sun.
