Mario Alessiani design studio announces its last work, the table lamp Vela for Offiseria. The company is a new born Italian design brand which wants to combine craftmanship, design and technology of metal. Mario Alessiani wanted to do a product as simple as possible which could exalt the manufacturing capabilities of the laser cutting joined with the precious handmade assembly and finishing. The lamp consisting of a cutted tube that contains the bulb and supports the lamp shade. Thanks to the laser cutting, the “L shaped” metal sheet fits perfectely the tube and creates both direct and indirect light. Everything is a relationship beetween design and process.
