January 20th, 2015 by retail design blog

The Munich design agency Heckhaus created 400 square meters of a world of three-dimensional shopping for the online furniture retailer BelMoba. In its very first showroom, located at Munich’s new MONA shopping center, customers can experience firsthand the wide selection and variety of high quality products: including touching, experiencing and sample sitting. The basic idea is to combine the consisting sales channels of shopping online and showroom to one location.

The customer has the option to gather information on a touch screen, configure their dream sofa tailored to their needs and expectations and then order it in the same process. The center of the showroom highlights a large olive tree, which is surrounded by quiet and restrained colors. In this way wood, leather and fabrics unfold their natural material effect and support the BelMoba slogan “Residing was yesterday – living is today”.
