The Weight of Words Packaging by Ystudio

April 24th, 2015 by retail design blog

Ystudio is from Taiwan, founded in 2012. They explore vanishing culture, devote ourselves to linking past memories and modern life, make fine artifacts for whoever is serious with their life.

KOHEZI‘, that’s the Dutch pronunciation of the word cohesion, which means ‘connected’ or ‘united’. KOHEZI love clean design, dirty streets, nature life, city hectics, fresh flowers and old bricks. Hmm… contradictions. Oh, yes… And they are based in Amsterdam. Earth. Our ‘obsessions’ are made out of natural materials. And, we want to change your perspective on these ‘common’ materials. And to do this we are building a collection of amazingly great designs. By displaying and combining these products we hope to bring back appreciation for these natural elements and simple designs. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Unique Points Of The Packaging:
Apart from the design, the package also includes two brass parts that can hold sheets of paper together.
