New department of Sberbank Russia office in St. Petersburg demanded the creation of a completely new concept of interior space. The aim of the project was the creation office demonstrating the prestige and reliability of the interior to VIP-clients and also innovative approach and adherence to European trends in the design offices.


Key competences of the bank became the basis of a design project in eco-style:

I am Leader: Competence is realized in the interior with the principles of energy efficiency and conservation of natural resources, corporate social responsibility for the preservation of the environment, as well as support of domestic manufacturer and using materials from recycled materials.

We are the team: Competence is realized in the interior by the care of the health of employees, creating favorable conditions for a comfortable working in the office.

All for the client: Competence is realized in the interior by attention and care about comfort of customers, creation of eco-friendly environment and to improve quality and level of service in the office.


The interior is based on the principle of energy conservation and natural resource conservation in lighting: light control, motion and water detectors, water-saving plumbing, individual room temperature control and sensor analysis of energy consumption. Furniture from recycled materials is used in the interior and also novelties in eco-materials like salt panels being ionizer premises, absorbent panels that absorb toxic substances from the air. Design project, repair, and LEED certification needed to be done in a short time. At the moment the idea of eco-friendly office became so popular in the banking environment that many offices plan to renewal their workplaces and interiors in compliance with eco-sustainable technologies.
