“Coffee as a subject has inspired me not so much because I am a connoisseur, but because I love all aspects of the sociability linked to coffee. When we want to see someone we, Italians, say: Let’s have a coffee.- It’s the core of the Italian sociability. We live in the era of social networks. However, we have to consider that coffee is the most powerful, strong and ancient social network. For that reason, I have always thought that the essence of Lavazza is to bring people together, harnessing the coffee break to form bonds. In some way, it is something magical.”
