Brooklyn Desks office by STUDIOSC, New York City

August 11th, 2015 by retail design blog

Within an empty 10,000 Sq. Foot Ground floor space, STUDIOSC was commissioned to envision a creative co-working office in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The old exterior windows were re-purposed to create dividing walls and become interior light sources, while off-cuts of OSB board were cut and dyed to create many of the common areas and delineating elements of the space, while keeping an open, community feeling to the space. Some of the main design elements such as the custom reception desk, entrance ceiling, kitchen/rec. space areas were design build collaborations with Matt Lake and Dane A. Steinlicht of ROGUEBUILT.
