August 23rd, 2015 by retail design blog

Founded in 1976 during the Golden Age of Munich, MCM (Modern Creation München) was born out of a desire to be different and an unparalleled ambition for perfection. The name, also representing the Roman numerals “1900” symbolizes the spirit of travel from the turn of the 20th century, serving as an homage to the city of birth.

Constructed in a colossal 340 sqm space, the latest destination stands opposite the Old Opera of Frankfurt. The latest locale is poised directly on the junction amidst Frankfurts’ luxury fashion street “Goethestrasse” and popular avenue “Fressgass”. Nestled within the central business district, MCM’s Frankfurt Flagship can be found between Opernplatz (in the west) and Börsenstraße (in the east), within the Innenstadt quarter.

In line with the marbleised tones Aluphant supplied the brass finished fittings that can be found throughout the hole store. A distinguished store design that highlights the natural beauty of our metal finishes.
