Genesis Mannequin Showroom, Auetal – Germany

August 25th, 2015 by retail design blog

Just like a canvas, mannequins offer a limitless palette of possibility. To illustrate this, a collection of sundry scenes activate the blank canvas of the Genesis Mannequin showroom, letting the figures themselves do the talking – and in some cases the walking.

Strutting down catwalks and even climbing the walls, the mannequins effortlessly show what’s imaginable for the retail apparatus. Whether the simple silhouette, human-like form or personified character is the style of choice, the selection of models shows a broad spectrum of experiments filled with potential. Diverse personas and attitudes radiate in classic colours or trendy tints, with translucent materials and lacquered metallic skins in rainbow hues.
