CLOCHE Beauty Boutique (CLOCHE), an independently owned retailer of the world’s best beauty products, opened its first concept store last month. CLOCHE at Timberland Town Center is 1000 square feet and specializes in offering the best available cosmetics, skin, bath & body, fragrance, hair and nail care brands. “The inspiration for CLOCHE was my love of history, romance and classic films,” said Christine Petitt, co-founder and co-owner of CLOCHE. “CLOCHE stores are designed to evoke feelings of relaxation, whimsy and discovery.”

The design of Cloche began with inspiration from historical French interiors, re-imagined with a modern, selective palette. Colors and materials were chosen to convey understated luxury. The Italian ceramic floor and brass fixtures evoke old world palaces, while the warm gray and white shelving and displays allow the product to stand out.

Special attention was paid to the lighting design which highlights product while providing warmth to the cosmetic trial areas. Ultimately, the store design provides a beautiful and relaxed setting for clients to discover their next favorite beauty product.
