Speers, the new mini format lamp equipped with B.lux LED bulbs

In line with its commitment to applying LED technology to decorative illumination, the manufacturing brand B.lux has launched a new type of suspension lamp, designed by David Abad, onto the market. In addition to being installable as a single suspension lamp, surface-mounted or embedded, Speers comes with several accessories that allow for the creation of a lighting system presenting multiple configurations.

In every case the Speers features high-luminance LEDs, which can be outfitted with concentrated optics, or with a laminated matte diffuser providing soft general illumination. These lighting effects accentuate the fine materials that were used in the manufacture of its shade, which can be of copper or brass. In addition to being marketed in these monochromatic finishes, with brushed interiors and glossy exteriors, B.lux has expanded the product’s colour selection which, in both cases, can include an exterior painted in black or matte white.

All these features, in addition to its elegant 11-cm shade, make the Speers suitable for use in both home and contract spaces.

Speers is a design by David Abad, who presented the B.lux brand at the last edition of the Euroluce 2015 fair in Milan. It belongs to the decorative lamp collection of the Basque brand, which has been producing designer lamps since 1980.
