Coccole Look Showroom by Estudio Vitale, Castellón de la Plana – Spain

Located in the commercial heart of the city of Castellon, Coccole is a boutique fashion and accessories for women. The business idea was to create a cozy, feminine and natural showroom. A place to enjoy a relaxed way of a careful selection of brands of clothing and accessories, with a very personal and close fashion consultancy.


“Coccole” is translated from Italian as “cuddles” and they become the leitmotif of the project. A comfortable environment with soft fabrics, elegant materials, warm lighting and small details that surprise and emphasize the creative and close spirit of the brand. Vitale Studio designs the brand and the commercial space with the intention of creating a space designed for living every detail, appreciate each garment, each accessory, and dive into the universe Coccole unhurried, leisurely.


The commercial premise has a long narrowed shape of about 100 m2 in which, thanks to a simple and intuitive layout, the project gets the most potential to resolve these space constraints. Because of space morphology is dispensed with a conventional shopwindow and the shoowroom is opened onto the street for becoming a great showcase that invites freely enter and visit. A bright, spacious and practical space is achieved, with a certain expository rhythm, but it must be perceived ordered. For this, the exhibition furniture and the counter are arranged in parallel to the main walls.


The counter is covered completely with beveled mirrors to reduce its visual presence. The mirror also covers the oblique wall of the exhibition area, allowing visualize the garments that are a considerable distance from the shop entrance and increase the feeling of spaciousness.


Coccole is distinguished by providing comprehensive advice and define a “total look” to their clients. For this reason, the fitting room area has a special role in the project and is designed to be very large, comfortable and functional.
