Multiyork Store by Unibox Retail, Solihull – UK

October 26th, 2015 by retail design blog

Multiyork contacted Unibox Retail to assist them to develop a visual merchandising display system they could use throughout their stores. The VM team at Multiyork had found what they believed to be a perfect solution on the Unibox Retail website, the SOL extruded aluminium system, a 35mm square modular system that was designed for any visual display application.

Through working closely with Multiyork’s VM team the final solution was to use a black powder coating on the framework and using this alongside a number of bespoke panels. The Solihull store is the second outlet to be redesigned, as it has an out of town format which has a double ceiling height atrium area and a mezzanine floor this left a multitude of options for display sizes.

The powder coated SOL framework system provided a consistent design language and backdrop throughout the store. Alongside this the VM team positioned raw materials and machinery, used to create their products, to give a contemporary voice to the store, supported by carefully placed products and some stylish treatments to update the store environment.
