Handel Amsterdam is one of the most prestigious and controversial projects in our portfolio. We were involved with this project well ahead of the building of this office-villa at the Zuidas Amsterdam. We took part in all the brainstorming sessions and that’s how we made it into a very personal project. First, we developed the name Handel (Dutch for trade), and then we took on the advising role for the interpretation of this office building. We strongly believe that flexible working is the future for the business market and so we’ve integrated this idea in an office for flex workers, the restaurant and the Aorta, the sizeable hall where you can work, meet and socialize.

Second, we designed the interior architecture, graphic designs and the styling of all the public spaces. The design team of All-In living loves to get the opportunity to design the interior as well as the graphic designs. That way we can seamlessly combine the two. We were very lucky that several of the ‘residents’ (the companies in Handel) reached out to us with the question to also design the interior of their own office spaces.
