Dolmen Furniture Collection by O Studio

January 20th, 2016 by retail design blog

Through the Dolmen collection, O Studio invites us to write a new page in its history. Back to origins, Paulo Oliveira decided to reduce the table into a tray, resting on three feet only, symbol of Dolmen and its pure form. Materials that were chosen, for their strength and the harmonious contrast they cause, are a demonstration of sensitivity and sensuality. The coldness of metal contrasts with the warmth of ebony, and it finally provides a silky touch. This love for craft and the know-how are the true reflection of the aspirations and values of the agency.

About O Studio
After the creation of OR Studio in 2010, Paulo Oliveira pursues the conquest of new territories through the creation of O Studio, an agency exclusively dedicated to Design. He is associated to the best craftsmen and specialists of raw materials, who are essentials to achieve unique and high quality products. It is through excellence and expertise that beauty of materials is perceptible. This respect for human labor, coupled with a contemporary vision of design, is the signature of O Studio agency. Paulo Oliveira describes it as “devoted to his spirit of craftsman, carrying values of functionality and comfort.” Our projects are always guided by sensitiveness to materials and light, seeking sensual connection between the raw material and the elegance of detail.
