Picturehouse Central by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, London – UK

January 28th, 2016 by retail design blog

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has designed Picturehouse Central, a new flagship cinema for Picturehouse housed in the historic London Trocadero. Carousel bulbs in the venue’s entrance marquee bring a sense of theatre to the approach, whilst internally the space has a laid back art-house feel.

The foyer walls feature a mural by celebrated artists Patrick Vale and Paul Davis and adjoining the concourse sits a vibrant retro café. From there, a red tiled staircase leads up to a first floor bar, restaurant and lobby area with vintage-style ticketing and confectionary kiosks.
