Les French furniture series by Glithero

March 13th, 2016 by retail design blog

Glithero’s Les French furniture series family has been extended. The new pieces are a collection of ad-hoc bamboo frames with functional surfaces positioned at varying heights. Each piece is first constructed in bamboo and wax before being direct cast entirely in bronze using the lost material casting process rendering each piece unique. The pieces are finished in combinations of polished natural bronze and gun black patina. The series so far includes a coffee table, hall table, stepped low shelves, sideboard shelves and a tall shelving stack. The collection is available at Gallery Fumi.
