Berlin-based Fabien Dumas has designed the ‘aForest’ lamp series as part of the collection of decorative lamps by B.lux, a manufacturer of designer lamps located in the basque country founded in 1980. The lighting objects share a common, petal-shaped lighting element which, in the case of the wall version, emits indirect light. The suspension model is available in two versions: horizontal (SH) and vertical (VH). All of them are made of PUR, equipped with high-luminance LED bulbs, and are available in matte white, red or blue finishes.

Dumas comments on his work: ‘The inspiration for aForest takes roots in the rich nature of the Polynesian island of my childhood, a seemingly infinite diversity of flora, a never ending abundance of essences and fragrances, an opulence of colors. It’s a painting by Rousseau and Gauguin, a poem by Baudelaire, invitation to a journey: there, all is order and loveliness, luxury, calm and voluptuousness…’
