STG Design has developed the new offices of global software company NetIQ located in Houston, Texas. STG Design worked with NetIQ on their new three-story regional headquarters in Houston The mission to leverage peer-to-peer interaction, insight and sharing of best practices through their business is apparent in their new office via an open environment, collaborative break-out spaces for meetings, and a central core with with open feature stair.

To reflect Houston culture without incorporating stereotypical Texas elements, the team engaged local artist Randy Twaddle to collaborate on a large-scale graphic vinyl wall covering for the three-level interconnecting stair. The art, created for NetIQ, features dripping coffee on watercolor with superimposed photos of power lines.

Program elements for the new office include a development lab, focus rooms, and conference rooms of various sizes. The design of this space reinforces NetIQ’s commitment to delivering excellent technology and customer service while remaining easy to do business with.
