The stair structure is composed of two interlocking parts: a skeletal metal staircase and a sculptural wooden envelope. Together, they rise as an expressive tornado from the reception desk – conceived as the inception plateau and up to the first-floor mezzanine, fourteen meters above.

On top of the interior and furniture design, all of the graphic elements were also designed in-house. The main graphic element is a 30-meter long poster which encompasses the work space, designed in the colorful, cheerful and international spirit of Sabre.

The slanted lines are recurring, they are used to accentuate the wall and the ceiling above the counter adding warmth to the design. The wall is finished in the same pink as the counter, and underneath it are all the refrigerators, finished with black coated steel.

The architecture comprises two storeys, with six yellow units overlapping perpendicularly above of six red containers. A further roof level provides outdoor recreation space, offering elevated views across the surrounding area.

A great part of the project is covered by mosaic glass developed by Hisbalit. the intention was to create a singular and unique space using distinctive materials: the touch of wood on the floor, the effect of a ceiling coated by mirror and the play of colors and mosaics, that provides the whole space a point of attachment.

The main design element was the use of strong black and white contrasts in form of a tunnel-shaped installation that has a kind of “pull” effect on the customer and almost “ropes” him/her into the Store.

Alienware theme store and internet café by Gramco, Kunming – China

Inspired by the brand concept “ALL POWERFUL”, taking advantage of the five-meter-high ceiling of the store, this design uses lighting fixture which extends down from the top, and makes the ceiling design a corresponding style with the display desks.
