Ditre Italia, leader in the upholstered leather and fabric furniture sector, will be opening its first flagship store in Milan in the famous Sant’Ambrogio area, the new cultural district of the Milan Design Week. The exclusive shop is situated in a historical “palazzo” in the centrally-located Via Carducci 38, the beating heart of the city.

“At long last we have the chance to present our whole product range with our own personal style and in an appropriate location” said Michele de Marchi, MD Ditre Italia, “what’s more, the flagship store comes at an important moment in the company’s history as it is celebrating its 40th anniversary in the business this year. Being able to have a completely dedicated store is the climax of a journey the company has been on for the past few years and it enables us to show off our bestsellers, as well as all the latest products we are presenting at the Salone, showcasing our Total Outfit concept”.

The shop is located in a historical building, so the project focused on respecting and drawing attention to the cultural values of period Milanese architecture. The shop is divided up into a number of different rooms and the colour palette of the interiors revolves round mud and light beige shades. The products are displayed in cosy, private environments, each dedicated to a different collection and interpreting a different function: living, conversation, dining and the sleeping area featuring beds.

Customers will therefore be able to admire all the living collections presented at the Salone, including the Kanaha and Sanders beds from the new catalogue The Newbeds 2016, and there will be a corner dedicated exclusively to the Cart armchair by Joe Colombo.

“We firmly believe that the prestigious location will give us greater visibility worldwide. We will be able to extend our sales boundaries and consolidate our partnerships with our dealers, providing them with display guidelines for our products”.
