On the 28th of June the Italian startup ‘Woodie Milano’ will launch a new crowdfunding campaign to realize their evolution of the common power strip. Their goal is to change the access to power and the focus of their crowdfunding campaign will be the Woodie Hub. The different designs and materials of the charging station are made to complement any interior design. It will not only create an eye catcher in the room, but will also make life much easier by providing universal power sockets, Usb charging as well as Wireless Charging for the mobile phone.

This campaign follows an earlier kickstarter campaign which failed to reach the goal of €60.000. After the first campaign the company received an angel investment and applied those finances to create the perfect prototypes and ready them for production. The upcoming crowdfunding campaign is therefore meant to realize the actual production, which will only require €15.000 this time around. On the new campaign, Woodie Milano’s CEO Marco Iurilli said: “We are now so much further than we were last year, which minimizes the risk for all our backers. We made the contacts to actually produce the products, have the molding done and have established strong relationships with various companies and fans. We can finally change the access to power.”

The campaign starting the 28th will provide an opportunity for all fans of design and technology to acquire an object of great functional design, at a much lower price, with a fast delivery date compared to most other projects as Woodie Milano has moved forward.
