The One Velvet show unit project is the second collaboration between HelloEmbryo and their client, Forzaland. Located in the heart of CBD alam Sutera, One Velvet is strategically located near major shopping malls, International schools and the business district. A residential development that offers one bedroom to three bedroom units that spans over 27 stories, including facilities catering to young professionals and families seeking the glamorous lifestyle.

HelloEmbryo were given the opportunity to design the one bedroom and two bedroom show units. Drawing inspiration from One Velvet’s location in an upscale district, the show units were designed to exude Glam in a modern context. The one bedroom show unit is designed with a bookshelf as the main focus in the living room, allowing the clients to display their vast collection of books or accessories from overseas. Brass inserts line along each shelf, creating a grid within it.

The four poster bedframe anchors the design intent in the master bedroom. The walls are cladded with simple timber profiles, allowing the bedroom to look spacious and uncluttered. We continue the brass feature from the living room into the bathroom, complemented by the dark timber finish, keeping the design of the bathroom simple yet glamorous.

On the other hand, the two bedroom show unit is designed to cater to a demographic that appreciates classic design. The walls are cladded with pronounced timber profiles and intricate marble floor finish. The furniture, light fixtures and materials were selected to complement the overall design direction.

We created a hobby room that allows the clients to enjoy a book on the daybed or spend the afternoon doing their favorite activities. The bathroom is kept simple, with a textured timber wall panel that runs from the wall to the ceiling, creating a floating plane effect.
