Spine Collection by Space Copenhagen for Fredericia

August 4th, 2016 by retail design blog

Design studio Space Copenhagen expanded their Spine Collection for Danish design house Fredericia to now include the Spine Daybed and the Spine Lounge Petit. They join a larger collection of furniture that was originally created for a Michelin starred restaurant. Each handcrafted piece features a soft, upholstered side for comfort and a solid lacquered oak back as the structure – the perfect contrast.

The Spine Daybed is a multifunctional piece that can be used in residential, hospitality, or public spaces as a bench-type of seat or a place to lay down and relax. Leather piping around the sides and center of the cushion add an extra design detail. The Spine Lounge Petit is a small easy chair designed for comfort but with an elegant spin. Works in a home environment or for public spaces.
