Contract Workplaces has designed the new offices of telecom company Telefonica located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Located in the Guayaquil Airport Building, the new Telefonica Ecuador offices are distributed over three floors totaling 1,260 m2 with 200 work positions organized in open plan.

In line with the company’s aim of achieving a culture of collaboration, creativity and teamwork, the starting point has been the idea of having an open, flexible and multifunctional space, capable of offering a wide array of use options throughout the day.

The proposal for the operational area entailed an efficient use of the space with assigned work positions and shared work positions in bench tables without drawers.

The new offices also have semi-private workspaces and, with a view to facilitating team collaboration and spontaneous meetings, support tables with two or three seats were placed between work positions.

For the assigned positions and semi-private areas, low translucent glass dividers were chosen in order not to interrupt the visual communication of the whole space.
