The name of this side table is Hilt, it is the Dutch word for the cross handle at the top end of a spade or shovel. Here it functions as a way to easily move the table to wherever you want to take it: to your couch, to your lounge or to your bed. HILT side table merges the mundane with the elegant. The reference to tool handles ensures that you’ll want to lift it intuitively and the ash wood ‘hilt’ makes for a warm and pleasant touch. The table top is made of beech plywood which is painted white. The brushed stainless steel strip at the bottom of the frame counterbalances the bent ash wood pole. The frame of HILT side table has three legs and will always be stable regardless of the floor on which it stands.
