Orona Ideo Headquarters by STUA

December 1st, 2016 by retail design blog

STUA has had the opportunity to participate in the interior design of the Orona Ideo project. Located in Hernani, Spain, Orona Ideo combines business, university and research and want to be the first European research and innovation center for sustainable urban mobility.

Orona Ideo becomes the most emblematic architectural project carried out in recent years in the Basque Country. The neuralgic center of this project is a cylindrical building, inserted diagonally in the ground and that is work of the architects Eneko Goicoechea and Xabier Barrutieta. In this environment, with a marked architectural character, the pure lines of STUA furniture fit perfectly.

STUA is present in three main areas of this landmark project:
– General relax spaces: Onda stools.
– Restaurant: Lau tables with Laclasica chairs.
– Bar & staff canteen: Onda stools.
Onda, Lau and Laclasica are designs by Jesus Gasca.

Architects: Eneko Goicoechea and Xabier Barrutieta
Furniture: STUA
