Wan Chai District is situated at the east side of the central area of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It is a fascinated place that is a mix of the old and the new which creates a unique atmosphere (it feels very Hong Kong).
In December of 2014, Timón Seafood Tapas Bar&Restaurant was opened in Wan Chai Ship Street. “The image of our bar is just Spanish bars which everyone knows in Spain.” What he said made a key word of the design. Bars are very common in Spain.

It is not special place for people who live there. “Bars” are the usual spot and the ordinary place for them. A design of “Ordinary Place”. We created it with the image of “Bar” where is in Spain. It is simple, cosy and could feel the ambience of street corner in Spain. The “Bar” space, where one stops to make a short visit, was provided on the ground floor. The dining area was placed on the first floor to have a great tapas and spend a very relaxed time.

The patterned tile in subdued colors was used on the floor at the ground level including the entrance poach to set the casual atmosphere of Spanish bar. On the floor of the first level, we selected antique oak timbers to make the warmth and comfortable feeling. The main design feature of the wall is wallpaper which reminds of under the sea. The facade, which is decorated with mosaic art of ship wheel, warmly welcomes visitors.
