Circle chandelier by Hannakaisa Pekkala for Northern Lighting

January 16th, 2017 by retail design blog

Currently completing her final year at the Institute of Design & Fine Arts in Lahti, Finland, Hannakaisa used simple graphic lines to break away from traditional chandeliers and make a contemporary statement. Taking the circle as her starting point, the designer used simple graphic lines to give the lamp its signature round shape. A single light can be installed on its own to create a focal point, or be combined with several others to create unique compositions. Though simple in style, each detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a thoroughly versatile and sculptural light. With its graphic shape and creative potential, Circle is as original as it is beautiful.
