What was a mythical and renowned carpet shop in Bilbao is opening its doors once again, by turning its emblematic exhibition into a Café Lounge offering cuisine with Persian touches. In the process, the design consultancy Verno sought to preserve the origin of the space and managed to adapt its past to this new future by making use of some of the most emblematic items of the old carpet shop to enhance the ambience and history of the Pershic.

The carpets, the amazing carpentry and the careful lighting provide atmosphere and help to reflect its vital and vibrant personality. A unique space, as under their feet, the owners will continue to design, but only to order, the Persian carpets that gave character to this space. A renovated corner of Bilbao, a very special venue with a beautiful historical background, exotic flavours … and Persian carpets.
