Plein Air a Haarlem sun protection cream packaging concept by Stas Neretin

February 7th, 2017 by retail design blog

When working on a Plein Air the most important things to take with you are inspiration and good sun protection. The range of sun protection creams with the images of beautiful naked bodies by Cornelis Cornelisz. Van Haarlem can be both! The shape of the packaging is similar to a tube of paint which fits perfectly into a painters case. And the fragments of the paintings are not only for decoration, but also indicate the level of sun protection factor — the lighter skin means the higher level of protection. Images used in the design: The Fall of Man and The Massacre of the Innocents.

Design: Stas Neretin
