The design creates a tactile chamber that stimulates the senses, in this way becoming an architectural folly, a destination for escape, within the hermetic conditions of the shopping centre. Soft colour and a palette of simple materials, tiles, plywood and steel, are subverted through unique applications of texture and composition to engage and uplift the customer.

For example, the wall tiles are laid in a brick pattern that subtly shifts in plane and texture aiming to create a sense of movement within the space, metaphorically echoing a breeze through gum leaves, while the tiling also reminds the viewer of the rituals associated with bathing.
