May 12th, 2017 by retail design blog

Patissez, restaurant and original creator of the FreakShakeTM from Canberra, Australia, has launched their first branch in Thailand at Parc 39 shopping complex in Bangkok. Whitespace worked with Patissez to expand upon their current branding and design the interior of the new location.

The restaurant is 204 sq.m. with 70 seats to accommodate patrons. Incorporating the rustic style of the original restaurant in Australia, Whitespace used a combination of materials including wood, brick and concrete while also taking a more minimalist interior design approach to appeal to local cafe goers.

Turquoise, the brand’s signature color, can be seen throughout the space used a pop color and an eye-catching neon sign that reads “Get Your Freak On,” in reference to the brands signature milkshakes, hangs above the pass-through. The Patissez brand tone-of-voice is playful and Whitespace designed items as icons, stationary, menu and environmental graphics for the expanding brand.
