Veganel is a vegan and organic restaurant located close to the old town walls of Nuremberg run by food lover Ewald Edelberg. The concept for Veganel was a clear intention to make an approach to the roots of this food culture, the greenhouse. A greenhouse that welcomes the customers with a counter filled with small plants, seeds and flowers as a tribute to the growing culture.

Once inside we find a cantilever wooden structure that seems to float in the air, and covered with organic cotton fabrics. The back wall is probably the main eye-catcher in the space, represented by welly boots and watering cans in display. The illustrations and wallpapers in the main room and toilettes were beautifully illustrated by Spanish illustrator Ana de Lima. The idea was to unify both plants and gardening tools into one illustrative ecosystem.
