ADCO Constructions Offices by Woods Bagot, Melbourne – Australia

Form and massing studies led to the creation of a unique screening element. Offering a new perspective to materiality, the brick motif was crafted in timber used in repetition with an application traditionally reserved for brick. The feature wall produced demarcates the space while allowing sightlines to be maintained throughout.

It is designed to create a link with the city and the views that surround it and manages to combine the influences of the Greek antiquity with the latest design and construction techniques. DiP Architects intended to create a relaxing, sophisticated atmosphere using neutral colors, marble, wood, minimal furnishing and elegant fabrics.

The idea is simple; we want to generate an icon, an attractive exhibit that seeks to stir curiosity and catch the attention of the city´s inhabitants. But also, we want to show that the Garnica panels are self-supporting; we haven’t used any supporting structure or sub-structures. We have only used the starting material, the Garnica panels: 39 of them.

Mercado Libre offices by Contract Workplaces, Alem – Argentina

The core concept of the project has been the connectivity of the company with its users. The use of perforated shapes and materials that evoke nets, meshes and fabrics together with the use of vibrant colours provided material support to the idea. In line with the model established by the company, floors are organized in open plan and there are no private offices.

Elegant and simple. A Premium, handmade product, made from top quality anchovies, for which a personalized lettering and an icon was developed. The result, a silk-screened bottle in a custom-made wooden box.

Dover Street Market, Singapore

The store occupies a 12,325 sq.ft. [1,145 sqm.] pavilion-like structure with a high ceiling – at well over 10 metre at its highest – that’s marked by a series of colourful giant arches. Mind you, it’s the first that time colour has been used architecturally in any of Dover Street Market’s stores.

The ground floor has brainstorming spots, a lunch area, bar, playroom and various informal consultation places. We have connected these functions through a catwalk that runs from front to back across the floor. The new corporate identity of LINKIT became the guide to the décor and is clearly reflected in the pronounced color use.

COR Shop by BLOCO Arquitetos, Brasilia – Brazil

The client´s briefing for the shop “COR” asked us to create a space that could work both as a showroom for a Brazilian brand of paintings and architectural coatings and as the backdrop for the display of the work of the furniture designer Paulo Alves, from São Paulo.

Morty’s Delicatessen on Star Street by JJA , Hong Kong

The project’s interiors, designed in collaboration between JJA Bespoke Architecture, Morty’s and Kevin Poon, focuses on pushing the site’s existing back-of-house kitchen towards the front-of-house, so passersby can peek in through the restaurant’s kitchen window from the sidewalk.

Whereas traditionally gyms have pursued a more neutral or even aseptic atmosphere, our proposal follows a contemporary spirit of uniqueness and simplicity by acknowledging the less pristine and natural side of things. Where old or even decay doesn’t imply outdated but quite the contrary, an opportunity to find distinctiveness.

Backdoor – Thai Bakery by OMY design, Tel Aviv – Israel

The ceiling is constructed by a reflective prism-geometry element. One side of the prism is covered by stainless steel in order to reflect the light coming in, making the shop brighter and creating the sensation of a higher and more aired ceiling, and on the other side – a natural green veneer that compliments the space.

We used Paulownia as the main material and various lights were used to create a cheerful and dynamic atmosphere in the food hall. The rooms connected to the central axis used marble lighting on the carbonized wood to express a high level of luxury.

Linehouse inserted a black metal framework into the space. Occupying this structure is a lounge seating area, pantry, meeting room bathroom and storage. Sectionally, glass divides the different programmes, allowing transparency throughout the enclosure.

At just 298 square feet, the pop-up space has been transformed into a modern rendition of leisurely summer days and childhood lemonade stands. A lively pink tone adorns the walls and ceiling, along with hand-painted lemon wallpaper detailing.

CEO and VPs are located equidistant of the rest of the teams connected with an internal staircase with the upper and lower floors to facilitate the flow and constant interaction between employees.

The design uses variety worlds of materials, from the old and vintage to innovative, from reuse to new made. Cold and clean materials mixed with warm and cozy surroundings. Yet, our main concern was to make sure that this chaos will end up with a harmonic and relaxing atmosphere.
