Steel House luxury hostel by Duncalf, Copenhagen – Denmark

October 25th, 2017 by retail design blog

Duncalf has just completed Steel House, a luxury hostel located in Copenhagen’s hippest neighbourhood, Vesterbro. Formerly home to the Danish Union of Metalworkers, the building has now been transformed into an urban, incandescent luxury hostel, the rawness of which has been preserved.

Our scope included the creation of the brand identity, graphic design and interior design of all public areas including reception, lounge, swimming pool, gymnasium, games room and cinema. Steel House design brief comprised of creating minimalist lines and designs in a balanced fusion of raw elements, a rustic interior and soft textures.
