November 15th, 2017 by retail design blog

The hotel is located on the hill above the Central CBD of Hong Kong and command a panoramic view of the city. The hotel has been in operation for 20+ years and the interior needed a refurbishment desperately. The management (Lanson Place Hotel Group ) is known for its modern classic design approach to hotel with a residential feel.

The new design brief calls for a modern French inspired residential design that is elegant, contemporary and timeless. Due to tight budget, the original marble floor was retained, limiting the choice of color scheme for the new design. Pastel blue leather was chosen as backdrop for a soothing ambience and compliment the marble perfectly.

The reception counter is finished in AXOTOTL metal paint work and the back wall is tiled in SERGIO SAVINO mosaic tiles. The bar is back to back behind the reception counter and decorated with onyx stone panels. The two counter acts as the center-piece pf the lobby to create the vibe for the lobby.

The lounge is open all day and night to cater for all kinds of hotel guests needs. Plush fabric sofa custom made for the lounge provides a relaxed and comfortable setting to enjoy the view outside. The communal room is multi-functional and can be used for meeting or private dining. The hotel is completed in September 2017 and is officially opened for business now.
