“Gallica” is a beauty salon in Shibuya, Japan. Due to it is located in one of the most fashionable places in Japan, the inside of the salon is designed as a contemporary space with monotone. The main room which is based on white becomes highly bright by reflecting on the sunlight inserted through large windows.

In contrast, the lighting of the next room was reduced in order to make the shampoo area as a space to relax. It was expected that the bookshelf set on the walls expresses the private space of the guest like a personal study room.
