HONEY by Chord beauty salon by Log.design co., Akishima / Tokyo – Japan

January 1st, 2018 by retail design blog

“HONEY by Chord” is a beauty salon built in a suburban area in Tokyo. It was designed to follow the notion of a cottage. Although each subdivided space has a different plan, there is no complete boundary between the rooms.

Even the space that blends the hair coloring agent, which is usually hidden, is made to allow people to see it as a workshop for craftsmen.

A large tiled table located in the center of the main room not only spends time waiting for processing but also creates opportunities for communication with other customers.
