Occura asked Whitespace to design a new shop concept for their eyewear brand inside the Vongvanij Building on Rama 9 Road in Bangkok. The result is a bright and modern store with minimalist elements to appeal to high-end customers. The 90 square-meter store features a futuristic style hallway entrance that is an all white from floor to ceiling with large carrarra marble tiles and the Occura logo on the feature wall at the end of the hall.

Inside the store, a gallery of eyewear is on display and customers can receive an eye exam in the appealing optometrist examination room that is well-equipped with leading-edge eye care technology. Light wood floors together with marble table tops, white walls and black accents in the lighting and product fixtures create a welcoming atmosphere and a clean backdrop for the eyewears to stand out.

In order to incorporate Occura’s branding into the interior design, Whitespace used octagonal lights and product display tables throughout the store to resemble the brand’s logo. In addition, Whitespace utilized tall, thin fixtures as well as Barrisol ceiling with bright LED recessed light to make the low ceiling appear higher and to create more dimensionality.
