ORIGAMI – A symbolic architecture between paper and ceramic. Novoceram, a French manufacturer of ceramic since 1863, presents its «Origami» booth: a case with refined and dynamic lines inspired by the ancestral art of Japanese folding, which stands up at Cersaie 2017, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, in Bologna, Italy.

Origami has its own narrative force, that reflects a philosophy close to Novoceram values: a savoir-faire to transform raw material into sculptural and poetic work which requires patience, precision and dexterity. This inspiration has therefore found a natural expression in Novoceram for this edition of Cersaie 2017 which opens its doors in Bologna, from 25 to 29 Septembe.

Pervading the places of a Japanese atmosphere, the Origami booth, signed by Francesco Catalano, stands up in a pure form with rhythmic, intelligible and harmonious lines concealing in its heart an intimist and welcoming space, among other things, sculptural ceramics of Amaaro.

From the paper to the origami, from earth to ceramics, Novoceram presents its 2018 collections: Fast, a concrete effect tile with a contemporary touch and singular at the same time, Tango whose light reveals a delicate graphic play of scratches, Otto a minimalist tile with a great elegance for the outside. As well as the version for the interior of Tablon, a ceramic wood marked by the charm of time imprints.
