The Markogianni winery is located in Skilountia of ancient Olympia, in Peloponnese. As the project referred to the creation of labels for four products of the winery (white, rose and red wine and aged ‘tsipouro’), our goal was to create a tetralogy with a common visual identity, a clear vision and strong differentiation from the competition.

To communicate Tet, we developed a Tet inspired pattern to literally line the inside of a feminine handbag-like pack. We felt this solution effectively communicated a feminine touch to the Tet holiday. Being greatly inspired by Cointreau’s heritage, we developed classic look for the devices which contained the messaging.

Modern writing specified the use of each product and balanced atmosphere with practicality. The white bottles we chose for the whole line are referencing the old, precious, porcelain containers, which were used in pharmacies and exclusive beauty parlors during late 19th and early 20th c.

The ship was built in 1884, in New Zealand. Not long after this she left for North America but disappeared along the way. Someone claimed that the ship got stuck on a reef and sunk. However, there have been numerous accounts from eyewitnesses claiming to have seen her drifting.
