Green Waters exhibit by Patrick Nadeau for LG Hausys, Paris

LG Hausys partnered with the French designer Patrick Nadeau for their Green Waters exhibit at the IDEO BAIN trade fair in Paris, where they displayed the latest developments in eco-design for bathrooms (savings, recycling and the natural filtration of water).

A good reason to celebrate: for its 65th brand anniversary Grundig presented itself at the IFA with a 1,100 square meter tradeshow booth. Under the motto “65 Years Megahertz Excitement” dan pearlman presented the history of the brand and product highlights of recent decades with an anniversary wall and an architectonic timeline.

Alongside the corporate colour a glowing white makes for dynamic light-dark contrasts. A focused selection of materials also plays off of the contrasts between dark smoked oak and light-toned concrete. In the Roca Lounge on the upper level of the two-story stand, maple wood creates a warm and inviting ambience.

Visitors were met by a large boulder measuring 1.86 metres high held up by black cylindrical pillars. On appearance, the installation appeared empty, however upon entering the space covered by this looming monolithic structure and looking upwards, large circular cut outs of varying diameter were revealed.
