Delta airlines collection by Alessi

The Alessi for Delta collection is based on popular items already on Alessi’s catalogue where each one has been intervened and redesigned in order to fit aviation rules and regulations. The array is comprised of glasses, cutlery, porcelain plates, stainless steel serving tools, salt and pepper shakers and tabletop accessories like napkin rings and bread baskets.

This Vase & Fruit Bowl were designed as part of the AER Acrylic Tableware collection. It is constructed from 4 mm acrylic and bonded together with translucent glue which cures in white light. The collection experiments with the idea of suspending objects in space and were inspired by air bubbles in water.
