We designed large organic glass elements for the entrance to control the client access and added cubistic clouds of glass and steel to create a sales counter and a screen to hide the vending and coffee machines. By using glass, steel and leather as main materials we created a resistance to the many hot butts and roaches.

The main challenge at Albertina Passage was to recreate an abandoned pedestrian underpass at the very center of Vienna into a modern dinner club for up to 300 persons. Our target was to design a club that is suitable for an elegant dinner as well as for a big party night.

The rear walls of the niches and the front side of the bar are covered with shell limestone flagging, creating a homogenous surface when viewed from the front. The shell limestone is subtly illuminated by halogen lighting.

This Press Club wine bar is located in Four Seasons hotel on Yerba Buena Lane, San Francisco. It is an urban tasting room and shop that has been created by BCV Architects. The bar interior materials are from woods with exposed structural elements. It creates warm atmosphere inside.

Associated in the good old days with black and white movies, after hour card games, the Rat Pack, tuxedoes and speakeasies, the member’s only club has evolved into an essential part of what makes a neighborhood “hip” in the 21st century. New York, London, and Paris all have their answers to the modern day clubhouse, with places for the young bohemians/ creative thinkers/ artists of tomorrow to gather. It’s about time Athens*GR provided such a space for the youth creating their burgeoning art, design, and foodie scene.
