Circle chandelier by Hannakaisa Pekkala for Northern Lighting

Taking the circle as her starting point, the designer used simple graphic lines to give the lamp its signature round shape. A single light can be installed on its own to create a focal point, or be combined with several others to create unique compositions.

Orbit, Landing, Moon and Lift Off are combinations of two or three modules and represent the mission’s four stages. The structure is birch plywood providing stability and lightness. The light enclosure is aluminum. The panels are spaced a few millimeters apart, letting light through and accentuating its outline.

The Plumen Chandelier is built using a set of spacer rods, which create the supporting triangular or square framework. These hold the cords in place, and combine with a ceiling rose to hold either three or four pendants.
