Starbucks store at Sony Center – Potsdammer Platz, Berlin

The store design is based on the modern architecture surrounding our store. When you enter there is a free standing bar at which you can sit as well to see what the Barista’s are doing.

One of the main walls is made of wooden plates of natural beech, fitted on transparent frame with led lights. Geometrical composition of Murano glass plates, creates a warm spot on the opposite wall. Red tempered glass is also presented in mezzanine and is the material for the entrance tambour.

A sheet of aluminum, a recyclable material as thin and flexible as paper, spreads across the ceiling as it fills the space with its light and airy presence. The creases in the aluminum are as many glittering and fluttering petals covering the ceiling and enfolding visitors in a flowery embrace.

New Hotel by the Campana Brothers, Athens – Greece

What was the Olympic Palace Hotel in Plaka is now the New Hotel, which incorporates three different themes of Athenian culture in its design. First are rooms that display historic postcards, giving guests an insight into old Athens. Other rooms pay homage to fictional characters from Greek folklore called Karagiozis. The third theme for rooms embraces the ‘evil eye’ – a superstitious bead that guards against bad omens.

Located in Shenzhen Bay OCT Harbour Theme Park, blue and green color scheme represent the ocean theme. Huge gray egg- shaped cashier and water bar implies the characteristic of coffee bean which seems bitter but tasty. Furniture with various organic appearance present vibrant mood into the interior.

Urban Coffee Farm and Brew Bar by HASSELL, Melbourne – Australia

A total of 125 coffee trees from a disused coffee plantation in New South Wales were used on the Farm and they have been sold to someone who will replant them in Victoria. Over 2,000 tropical plants were used to create the jungle effect; these will be given back to the nursery that donated them for the duration of the Festival.

The client requested guest units that had the possibility of future relocation and addition. While clearing these requirements and in order to ensure the necessary dimension for the bedroom spaces with economy, we utilized a wooden structural frame on a standard freight-truck of adequate dimensions.

The design concept of the space is to emphasize the “sharing” idea of eating tapas, and the four distinct areas in the restaurant (tapas bar, dining room, dessert bar, and the secret bar) are meant to provide different flavors and ingredients for diners to “share”, like they do the food.

Inspired by old Victorian pavilions AZBcreative transformed the industrial marquee into a classical, European Restaurant. The feat of using materials normally reserved for permanent spaces, such as marble and fully molded wall treatments and custom made Victorian columns in a temporary environment is what makes this so unique to the concept of ‘POP UP’.

Keeping the ceiling and floor colour neutral, white paint and polished concrete floor were used to accentuate the warmth and golden hues of the timber and plywood. Extensive use of natural materials and colours blended effortlessly well with the delicate fabric of floral prints to depict a contemporary woodland setting.

The LARGO café located in the center of Heraklion. The combination of modern clean lines and retro elements is the main feature. On the floor is mosaic, the ceiling drywall and the right side is covered with a handmade wooden structure shaped grid.
